Wachstum

Wachstum is a series of images created with a generative system. The application follows algorithms, which define the parameters of the growth process. Each time the application is being run, it creates one unique image over time.

The piece was inspired by theoretical botany and the growth process in nature. An archival print of the piece was shown at the Top 40 Juried Competition exhibition in the Los Angeles Center for Digital Art in March 2007.
